Competitions

At Croxby, all of our learners know that the only person we ever truly compete with is... ourselves! However, a little competition across the curriculum can inspire learners to work harder and strive for excellence as they aim to beat their last personal best effort. Competing encourages learners to develop and refine various skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management. Competitions often celebrate diverse talents and abilities, creating an inclusive environment where each learner's unique strengths are recognised and valued. Below are some examples of competitions your child may enter or be part of throughout the year.

  • Orienteering
  • Dodge Ball
  • Netball
  • Cross Country Running
  • Bench Ball
  • Rounders
